| PRODUCT/SOLUTION INTRODUCTION

In Vietnam, many businesses continue to face significant challenges processing large volumes of unstructured documents — paper files, handwritten forms, invoices, and vouchers. These tasks are typically manual, repetitive, and low in value, yet highly prone to errors, driving up operating costs and reducing overall efficiency. 

GreenNode IDP (Intelligent Document Processing) is a solution developed in-house by GreenNode to address this challenge. Unlike traditional OCR technologies that merely convert images into plain text, GreenNode IDP integrates three core technologies — OCR, Generative AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs). This enables the system not only to recognize characters (including handwritten Vietnamese text) but also to understand semantic context, accurately extract and cross-validate information across multiple documents within the same case file, and automatically classify and route documents for approval or human review. 

GreenNode IDP has been successfully implemented at a leading Third-Party Administrator (TPA) specializing in insurance claims assessment and processing, handling claims for dozens of insurance businesses, a high-volume environment with varying form types, free-form handwritten documents, and no fixed templates.

The platform now processes 320+ pages in under one minute, with a batch-and-parallel architecture that keeps throughput stable even during volume spikes, helping the partner consistently meet its SLA commitments. The solution is fully compliant with Vietnam’s regulatory standards, including Decree 13/2023/ND-CP on personal data protection, ensuring the secure handling of sensitive information.
