Vu Tran is the Head of FSI Vietnam at AWS, with 20 years of senior leadership experience in domains such as Cloud, Software, Hardware, Services, Manufacturing, and HR. He is a trusted partner to financial institutions, driving their cloud journey for business growth, improved customer experiences, and operational excellence.

Before joining AWS, Vu spent 12 years at IBM, where he held key roles, including Segment Leader of Digital Business Automation for IBM ASEAN and Country Manager of Software Group for IBM Vietnam. He spearheaded remarkable implementations, including Watson Health, Cloud, and Security.

Passionate about innovation, operational excellence, and people development, Vu holds a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications from Ho Chi Minh University of Technology. As an inspiring leader, he continues to propel AWS Vietnam’s FSI Business to success through transformative cloud solutions and collaborative partnerships.
