OmiKG: Harnessing AI and Evidence-Based Medicine for Personalized Health Insurance

| ABSTRACT

Amid rising healthcare costs, increasing chronic disease burdens, and a strong trend toward personalized healthcare, the insurance industry is entering a new phase of development – where insurance companies not only pay out claims when risks occur but also become partners in health management and prevention.
At the Vietnam Insurance Summit 2026, Mr. Tran Quoc Dung – Founder and CEO of OmiGroup – will share insights on the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Knowledge Graph technology in driving this trend. The panel discussion will clarify how AI not only automates processes and improves operational efficiency but also helps insurance companies gain a deeper understanding of the nature of health risks.

Based on its experience in developing healthcare technology solutions, OmiGroup will introduce OmiKG – a medical knowledge graph built on evidence-based medicine. By analyzing the causal relationships between lifestyle, environment, risk factors, and disease, OmiKG helps AI detect health risks early, even before symptoms appear.
This approach opens up opportunities to improve underwriting capabilities, personalize insurance products, increase transparency in risk assessment, and gradually build a customer-centric, preventative health insurance model.
