Sang Lee is President of Chubb Life Southeast Asia & New Zealand of Chubb Life, and Country President of Chubb Life Vietnam. He has responsibility and management oversight for our South East Asian markets – Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and New Zealand.

Mr. Lee has more than three decades of experience in insurance, spanning across seven countries. He has held several senior management roles, including President & CEO of AIA Korea; Chief Marketing Officer and CFO at AIA Thailand; and CEO of Manulife Malaysia and Vietnam.

Mr. Lee holds a BA in molecular biology and an MBA from the American Graduate School of International Management.

In this keynote, Sang Lee, Chubb’s representative will share a strategic view on how the insurance industry must reinvent itself in an era of disruption in response to global disruption, changing customer expectations, and a rapidly evolving business environment. He will start with the macro outlook from global background and then frame Vietnam market context, highlighting the pressures facing the industry as well as the significant long-term opportunities ahead. The speech will also underscore the importance of rebuilding trust, closing protection gaps, and using digital transformation to create real value for customers and partners. It will conclude with Chubb’s perspective that successful transformation is not only about technology, but about reshaping the business and culture to deliver lasting growth and care.
