With 26 years’ experience in the life insurance and financial services industry in Hong Kong, Asia Pacific, and Australia, Mr Billy Lutton-Wong is an experienced financial services professional and is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia. He possesses deep expertise in life insurance and reinsurance, across various actuarial and finance functions such as financial and performance management, capital and risk management, pricing and product development, actuarial advice, mergers and acquisitions, and business strategy.

As the Appointed Actuary of Prudential Vietnam since September 2025, he is responsible for maintaining Prudential Vietnam’s financial strength and sustainability, and for putting customers and policyholders at the forefront through product, financial and investment strategies — meeting policyholder expectations and delivering peace of mind.

Mr Billy is passionate about the growth and the long-term sustainability of the Vietnam life insurance industry. He is committed to contributing to the further advancement of the life insurance industry by advocating international best-practice risk management frameworks and regulations, as well as optimising insurance operations and customer experience through technology.
