Joined FPT in 2004, Mr. Tran Dang Hoa has held various key positions across the company’s Operation and Business Development functions. Appointed CEO of FPT Japan in 2016, he has made significant contributions to FPT’s outstanding development in Japan, its largest foreign market. He played a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth and expansion in Korea, China, Myanmar, Indonesia, and so on.
With the determination to create “Make in Viet Nam” and “Made by FPT” ecosystems, he is the patron of FPT’s flagship products such as akaBot, akaChain, akaMes, Utop, Codelearn, and more. Notably, he spearheads the introduction of groundbreaking microchips for Internet of Things (IoT) applications in the medical domain, fulfilling the aspiration of producing semiconductor components crafted by the ingenuity of the Vietnamese people.
Since January 2023, he has held the position of Chairman at FPT IS, with the vision to propel the company towards technology breakthroughs and enhance the global prominence of Vietnamese intellect.
Hoa graduated from Foreign Trade University, majoring in International Economic Relations, and from Thang Long University, majoring in Information Technology. He is fluent in both English and Japanese.
